Organica is currently looking to fill a Associate Project Manager / Construction Manager position, reporting to Senior Director-Project Delivery & FSO.


Details of Responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of the Scope of Works, Project Supplies and Time lines for the Project
  • Understand and maintan a balance between the necessity / obligations, good to have and desires of the Client and maintain allertness with regards to Cost and Scope over runs. Avoid Gold Plating and excessive appeasment of the Client however accountable for maintaining good Client relationship
  • Raise the flags / issues from site to Organica Management in timely manner
  • Coordination within the Organica team for engineering activities and follow-up to ensure timely delivery of the submissions to Client / Consultant
  • Organise and represent Organica locally, for the various meetings with Client, Consultant, Contractors and ensure smooth understanding of the bottle necks and open issues to all stake holders. It may involve prompt translations from Vietnamese to Engilsh and vice a versa as per the need
  • Arrange and Coordination with Client & Consultants for document submissions, Design review meetings and ensure timely approval of Documents approval
  • Enable English to Vietnamese tranlation for drawings, documents, arranging, advising the Organica team for local specifications and standards, as per the requirement
  • Regular visit to construction sites and liaising with construction Contractors, Clients, Consultants for the progress update, non-compliances noticed and facilitate mitigation plan as per requirement
  • Liaison with Client for Works Schedules, progress of project and release of payments
  • Assist in updating the Works Schedule monthly as per the Site progress and sending Weekly report to Organica
  • Follow Health and Safety standards at Construction site and ensure others stake holders also too implement the same
  • Liaison with Local Vendors / Sub-contractors for supply of the best technically available and commercially viable equipment, material or services as the need arise
  • Prepare and implement Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc for various activities
  • Ensure that all the quality procedures are followed for each project in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure that the Contract deliverables are ensure in accordance with Contract Terms and Conditions
  • Liaise with other designers not limited to Architects, Landscapping contractors etc. to agree on their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction
  • Supervise and assist construction teams with the installation of Organica scope of supply during erection/construction on site
  • Facilitate, coordinate and follow up with the client and Organica Team for the Digital Services (Organica Online monitoring station) and Plant Operations for 12 months after the sucessful Performance Test and continue the same if Organica bags further Operation and Maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment Plant
  • Smooth Handover of the Waste Water treatment Plant to the Client vis a vis coordinating and assisting the Organica team to close all the Check / open points including the updation of documentation both in English and Vietnamese as per requirement
  • Identify, communicate and liaise with the Client for various Extra Claims



  • University degree in Science/Engineering. (Civil, Chemical. Mechanical, Environment preferred)
  • 5-7 years experience in a similar role (required in infrastructure industry, preferably in water/wastewater industry)
  • Excellent command over written and spoken English
  • Good skills at MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel and knowledge of Project controlling / monitoring systems and software (MS Project or Primavera)
  • International Experience, in at least one country for more than one year
  • Confidence, high level of energy and passion
  • Self-starter; Ability to work with minimum of supervision
  • Team player
  • Good attention to detail, results driven
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities
