Organica is currently looking to fill a Automation Engineer position.

 

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Involvement in PLC programming
    • Collecting requirements of other disciplines to define functionalities
    • Creating functional specific documentations
    • Creating PLC programs in Tia Portal, WinCC Professional or PCS7
    • Responsible for software testing
    • Creating test scripts
    • Testing and verifying software with other disciplines and clients
  • Involvement in the commissioning of Organica equipment and treatment plants globally
  • Traveling to Organica installations globally, as required to complete the activities listed below
  • Planning and managing the design of control systems and associated equipment
  • Coordinating with the Technical Innovation Department and independent institutes for improving automation design
  • Providing technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction
  • Site supervision during construction and participating in the on-site commissioning and testing activities
  • Coordinating ECI related issues with satellite offices
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
  • Proven experience in 3-5 years’ experience in a variety of automation, instrumentation and control design / detailed engineering, construction and commissioning
  • Experience in the field of Water and Waste Water is a plus
  • Experience in DCS (Distributed Control System), Tia Portal, Simatic PCS7, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and Water Industry specific instruments (analyzers, valves, flow meters)
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, control systems, process instrumentation is a must and preference will be given to candidates with SIMATIC PCS7, STEP7 and TIA Portal experiences
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation and related equipment and cable routing design
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken a must
  • Good skills at MS Office
  • Eplan and / or AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • International project experience is a plus
