Organica is currently looking to fill an Accounting & Admin Clerk position.

 

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities related to the accounting administration of entities of Organica Group registered in India:
  • Review and enter invoices, expense reports, advance payments and other data into AP subledger of the ERP system and produce regular AP reports
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Initiate wire transfers to pay vendors and enter bank transactions in the ERP system;
  • Keep regular contact with local accounting and tax administration provider, local bank, auditor, other suppliers and stakeholders
  • Manage the data service to local accounting and tax administration provider in order to manage local compliance deadlines
  • Assist Accounting team in Budapest, Hungary at the month-end closes, with entering journal entries and preparing reconciliation and analysis of GL accounts, and other projects as needed
  • Filing all accounting documents (invoices, performance certificates, other supporting documentation, etc.) in the local office need for local compliance purposes
  • Administrative and coordination work related to banking administration for all local bank accounts in India
  • Annual Asset verification reports and coordination
  • Responsibilities related to Legal and Admin for Organica Group entities in India, all under supervision of Associate Director-Legal Support (based in Budapest)
    • Responsible to maintain proper physical and electronic database of all legal documents in India
    • Backup in HR Matters coordination if required in event of HR Personnel on leave / non-availability
    • Support HR and Executive Assistant to COO with office related matters as needed, including liaising with landlord of building and 3rd party service providers
    • Supporting corporate affairs of Organica India entities as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years AP or general accounting experience (preferably IFRS)
  • Fluency in English
  • Comfortable working in and adapting to a rapidly expanding organization
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word, including Outlook, Tally proficiency added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in general accounting procedures in an ERP system, especially in AP processing
  • Company Secretarial Knowledge would be a plus
