Sales Manager – Strategic Projects Group – EUROPE


Organica is currently looking to fill a SALES MANAGER – STRATEGIC PROJECTS GROUP position, reporting to the Sales Director, Strategic Projects Group. At Organica the Strategic Projects Group (SPG) is responsible for closing deals for all projects greater than 50,000 m3/d outside China.  The SPG is also responsible for building relationships with Strategic Clients that are potential Market Licensees for Organica in new territories, and for all projects related to the existing Licensees.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop Market License Partner (MLP) leads
  • Active role in finalizing Product Supply Agreements for projects with license partners
  • Actively lead efforts in the closing of licensee contracts
  • Generate new potential product/service sales leads for Organica globally from license partners with the assistance of web promotions, government relations, etc.
  • Represent Organica on all kinds of platforms including meetings, conferences, presentations
  • Contribute to and participate in Organica activities at tradeshows
  • Support license partners in developing sales leads, including qualifying project opportunities, collecting technical and deal milestone data, remote and in-person meetings, calculating initial pricing, writing proposals, and general coordination
  • Ownership of complete partner lifecycle management for a specific area, including
    • Identifying, contacting, and qualifying new partners
    • Negotiating and implementing partnership and cooperation agreements as required
    • Maintaining and supporting partners in the region to maximize leads per partner
    • Evaluating partner performance vs. established goals
    • Ensure on time payment of license fees and PSAs
  • Develop and manage relationships with relevant trade associations, government bodies, universities, thought-leaders, and other influencers
  • Actively contribute to reach the targets of the SPG team (define main actions / go to market strategy for specific regions, allocate and review budget, etc.) for both project bookings and acquisition of new MLPs.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by partners and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • To conduct a yearly account review together with the Global Sales Director, SPG


  • At least a MS/BS in engineering or other technical discipline
  • Total minimum experience of 8 years, preferably all in water and/or infrastructure industry
  • 5 years of experience in selling products and/or services to General Contractors bidding on wastewater treatment project
  • Ability to understand technical issues related to biological wastewater treatment
  • International experience and willingness to travel is a must
  • Good command over written and spoken English is a must
  • Good command over written and spoken Spanish is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
