Organica is currently looking to fill a Project Engineer in Cairo, Egypt reporting to the Chief Technical Officer.
Job Overview
Oversee technical aspects of the project from contract signing till handover including engineering, site supervision, planning, cost control and client relationship management along with technical support for proposal, bid and tender preparation.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and execution of all technical and engineering aspects of projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct engineering activities to support project objectives.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with contract scope, technical specifications, and client commitments.
- Monitor engineering hours and support project cost control in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to support procurement of technically compliant equipment within project budget constraints.
- Support planning of project-related travel and site activities as required.
- Coordinate and support commissioning activities to achieve performance test requirements and process guarantees.
- Act as a key technical interface with clients, consultants, and asset owners to support smooth project execution.
- Coordinate preparation, review, and approval of engineering documents and Organica product specifications with clients and consultants.
- Provide technical support during proposal, bid, and tender preparation as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, sales, product, and operations) to ensure technical alignment and effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Experience: 7+ years in total of which 3+ years in water industry.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent Software.

Work Conditions
