Organica is currently looking to fill position of Project Engineer based out of Gurugram reporting to the Associate Director- Technical Services.
Key Responsibilities
Detailed tasks relating to the position:
- Overseeing planning and all technical aspects of the project.
- Planning and directing the engineering for the project.
- Ensure all work is done in line with the scope as per contract and in line with technical specification committed to the client.
- Managing the project budget and engineering hours.
- Coordinating with Supply Chain for procurement of technically compliant equipment for the project, while remaining within the budget.
- Maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the client and asset owner to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordination with client and consultant for preparation of engineering documents and Organica Products specifications and securing approval for the same.
- Participation in the preparation of technical proposals, information sheets, contracts, etc.
- Planning and overseeing travel requirements for the project.
- Planning and directing installation of equipment supplied by OW to ensure it is done properly.
- Overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities to meet performance test requirement & process guarantees.
- Generating reports for quantitative and qualitative analysis, if required.
Qualification & Experience
Necessary for filling in the position:
- Diploma/Degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical/electrical engineering
- Excellent command of English knowledge
- Experience: 5-7 year in wastewater industry
- Skills at MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- PMP Certification
- Knowledge of Wastewater sectors
- Knowledge of Government, Municipal and PSU bidding / tendering procedures
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and coordination skills
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and English and Hindi for liaising with various stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on precision and quality under strict deadlines
- Creative, innovative, and enthusiastic
- Confidence, high level of energy and passion
- Ability to work with minimum of supervision
- Team player & Flexible and open to changing priorities
Work Conditions
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work in an office and well as in field, which may involve standing, walking, and outdoor exposure.
- Travel: Very Frequent travel, Domestic as well as International may be required.
Base Location: Gurugram, lots of site travel involved
